Happy Mother's Day!

First off:

For those interested, you still have time to sign up for the golf tournament to be held next Monday, May 19! Attached is the flyer with all pertinent information as well as registration form.

We are blessed to have such amazing friends and church family who have gone to so much trouble to arrange this fundraiser on our behalf. Thanks for allowing me to make this shameless plug!

Now on to news:

Quiet weekend. We decided to celebrate Mother's Day next weekend since Aaron had a 3 day lifeguarding course (included Saturday & Sunday); and Kristin was out of town for a friend's baby shower. We did get to spend this afternoon with Ryan and Stacee watching the The Players Championship (golf tournament), though.

I'm very excited...tomorrow night, my group is bringing our monthly Keeno to me! They are providing dinner & the works. We'll use the lobby area up in Hotel Presby to eat & play. I haven't been with my girls since September and am really looking forward to some good girlfriend time!

Tomorrow, Ron has another fistulagram scheduled. They are hoping to be able to move one of the drains. And if all goes well, during wound vac care they will be able to remove it and not have to replace it....wound is not completely closed, but they've known all along this was to restore healthy tissue which will promote "granulation" so healing can occur. Dr. Shires likened it to a cookie cutter taking a chunk out of the skin. Eventually he will have plastic surgery to totally close the site; probably months down the road.

Please lift up each individual member of our family....7 months of balancing jobs, school, and fitting in time together is really begin to wear on each of us. Jobs are beginning to require more responsibility including some travelling & alot of extended hours. Much has taken place in our lives over the last year from 2 graduations, 1 wedding, everyone making major life changes including job changes, long distance moves and don't forget to throw in some "dying spells"... things have been a bit overwhelming. We covet your prayers and rest in knowing God promises to provide for our every need.

We appreciate your faithfulness!
Love, Christie
