We're home, again!!!!! Arrived about 3PM. Much smoother transition since we did not have to worry about getting prescriptions picked up and medical supplies delivered; other than TPN which arrived right on time! Ron rested in the recliner, returned a few phone calls and had a shower before home health nurse came around 8 to do an assessment and give us a refresher on TPN administration. I've got all the charts made to record flushes, output, medications administered and posted on fridge! Ron has to have bloodwork drawn by home health nurse Monday's and Thursday's and results are faxed to doctors the next day; and I have to fax my records to docs on that day as well. Pray things go smoothly, Ron will gain strength and energy and that there will be no surprise hospital visits between now and time for surgery to reconnect his intestines in June!
