Dr. Shires called up to Ron's room this afternoon to tell us that he had to move Ron's surgery to Friday, April 18. He is on standby for consult on another surgery on Thursday and is not allowed to schedule a surgery at the same time. So...the wait continues! He also told us earlier today that Ron's creatinine (kidney function) is fluctuating a little and is back up to 1.5 (was 1.4 yesterday). His creatinine must stay at 1.5 or lower for several days before they will do the surgery.
We try not to get our heart's too set on a particular day. As always, we know God's timing is perfect. And are choosing to wait on Him.

PS: Ryan and Stacee made it back to Texas safe & sound. Thanks for lifting them up. They (along with Aaron & Kristin) were able to spend the afternoon with Ron watching the Master's and playing games
