Back to floor

Busy day! Ron had his abscess-o-gram this afternoon. It showed no fluid but the "cavity" still has not collapsed and fluid could still form so they felt it was best to leave the drain in.

Surprised to find at 4:30 visitation they were getting ready to move him. At 6PM he was moved back out of CCU and onto a regular floor. I confess we are a little anxious about this...we know they've been talking about moving him out all week; his care really doesn't fit the requirements of being in CCU; but we were hoping they would keep him longer. Such a huge comfort level in knowing the staff to patient ratio is lower and they are so accustomed to Ron's needs for care. Please pray for adjustment for all of us. And that the nurses will be especially attentive to his needs; he has alot of unusually complicated things going on. Good news is, one of us can stay with him 24/7! Aaron wanted to take the first shift and is staying the night with Ron.

Thanks for joining us in prayer! Sorry this is short, and I'm sure there is more to report but I'm very tired tonight!

Love to all!
Christie, Ryan, Aaron & Kristin

PS: WE REALLY NEED TO MAKE SURE RON IS ABLE TO GET SOME GOOD REST; SO WE CONTINUE TO ASK FOR NO VISITORS!!!
THANKS!!!
