Watch & Wait

Today was another good day for Ron. Dr. Elieson came in the early afternoon and is in no rush to do anything at this point since Ron has stabilized. He opted not to do a CT scan for now but continue to wait and watch.
Praises:
  • hemoglobin levels: His hemoglobin has remained steady for the last 12-18 hours @ 9 (as opposed to 6 when he was rushed back to CCU on Sat).
  • heart rate and blood pressure continue to be stable
  • signs of intestines awakening
  • kidney still remains strong

Prayer requests:

  • SLEEP FOR RON...he's not been able to get good sleep in a VERY LONG TIME...his body needs to sleep in order to heal
  • blood sugar levels to stabilize (been up and down all day so they've been constantly adjusting his insulin levels)
  • bleeding will stop on it's own with no intervention needed!!!
  • Still so many things to battle: infection, side effects of pancreatitis, discouragement, etc

Late night, and we're extremely tired....I'll try to update earlier tomorrow when my mind is more clear!

Love,
Christie, Ryan, Aaron & Kristin
