Addition to Friday's update
Dr. Shires was just in, he's pleased his creatnine (kidney function) is the lowest it's been in months even after taking this huge hit; and his white blood count is 11,000 (virtually normal!). But until his blood pressure is stable off of meds, he'll stay in ICU. Can't really explain his little bout last night, typically when you stand someone up their blood pressure will drop and heart rate go up but his did just the opposite. But then again, he says, "you're never normal!" Boy, did he get that right! He also said to settle in here for probably a couple more days.
