Please pray for Ron. After IR today, his blood pressure dropped to 67/42 and he has now spiked a temp of 103. Things seemed to go well; CT showed the colonic fistula has healed so they were able to remove that drain. They also changed out the tubing on his PICC line (not replaced the whole thing because it still looked good), so they really don't have an explanation as to why this has come on. He does have a tendency to have his blood pressure drop after anesthesia but usually not this low or for this long of a period of time. They have started him on meds to raise BP, done a blood draw, called in resident doctor as well as infectious disease doc. He is still in recovery and Dr. Parikh said they will most likely move him to either ICU or progressive care unit.
Please pray they will be able to get some definitive answers quickly. I know Ron was very disappointed when they started mentioning admitting him.
